Intro to Fabric Printing

This tutoring session is required for DIY users who are certified to print at the lab and who want to experiment with printing on fabric using our Canon-Pro 4000 printer.  

During our time together, we will cover:

✰ This tutoring session covers the basics of printing on the Canon printer, how to ensure that fabric is loaded correctly, and print on Jacquard inkjet coated fabrics.

✰ Best practices for trimming and packaging fabric pieces.

✰ File prep basics for test strips

Preparing for Class

✰ Included in the price of the session is a 10” x 42” test strip. Please bring an image or multiple images we can use to create a test strip.

✰ Bring your files on a USB drive, external hard drive, or be prepared to AirDrop if you’re using an iPhone.

This session will be approximately an hour of 1:1 tutoring, you will then have the workstation and printer for an additional two hours to continue printing. Any prints beyond the 10” x 42” test strip will be charged at our regular DIY fee.

This one-on-one session will be scheduled individually. After booking we will follow up with you via e-mail with dates and times within your provided availability.

Please Note: LATITUDE never wants finances to stand in the way of participation in our programs. Please reach out to us to discuss financial assistance.

Refund Policy: For all LATITUDE courses, full payment is required to reserve your spot in the class. If you need to cancel your reservation for any reason, LATITUDE can provide a 100% refund for cancellations made 10 days prior to the start date of the course. Cancellations made with less than the 7 day notice will be given a 100% lab credit. Cancellations made within 72 hours of class run will be given a credit for 50% of the purchase price which can be used for any lab purchases, including re-enrollment, in the future. No refund for cancellations made on the start day of the course and will be considered a donation to the space.
