Inkjet Image Transfer is a one-day workshop introducing you to techniques needed to properly transfer images to both traditional and nontraditional porous and nonporous materials. It will cover the preparation of chemistry and substrates, printing your images, applying and removing the inkjet transfer, and editing and refining your techniques in this alternative image process.  In this class you will:

  •  Learn how to print onto Inkaid Transfer film

  • Apply two images onto supplied materials which will include (1) print on white matboard and (1) print metal sheeting.

  • The skills to apply what you've learned to a variety of alternative materials.

This class is designed for anyone who has prior printing experience on Canon printers and is interested in exploring the craft of this experimental process. Certification for printing at LATITUDE is required to take this class. Authorization can be achieved by taking an Intro to Print or one-on-one tutoring prior to the course!
